The sun kisses the lake
And she shivers
Absorbing his energy
Like new lovers
They dance together
To the lovelilt of birdsong
Her jewels sparkle
Their offspring bare witness
But make no comment.
Clouds float past
To pour over other trysts
Reflecting on the scene.
A bell rings
A spell breaks
And I must go.
