The Light

Sometimes I feel him touch my cheek
Kiss my closed eyes
And I can’t resist.

What will he bring me today?

I open my eyes a little
And he sneaks in
Eyes wide open
He is all around me
Everywhere

He whispers in my ear
“come to me…
I have new things to show you”

“I will never leave you
Wipe away your tears
Your path is clear
I need you
I can’t do this without you
You are me
We are one
Now get up
We have work to do!”

He is with me always
All day through I feel him.
With him life is vibrant, rich, intoxicating
He guides me
Shows me the way
Where to find the pieces
And how to put them together, perfectly.

A day spent with him
Is worth forever with any other
He takes me to my limits
And gives me the courage to go beyond
And I find him there too

And when I need rest
He takes me there
Peace, no doubts
And I know that he will be there for me tomorrow
And the day after
Ad infinitum
That he will never leave me.
